Canada corporate tax rate reduced again
Well its a new year, and the federal government has reduced again the federal tax rate for corporations to new low 15%, from 16.5% in 2011 (and it was 18% in 2010).
While some of you may say this is a great way to get more foreign investors to open companies in Canada, is still does not help workers to receive better salaries or even benefits, which in thus is not helping the federal government to receive more income (tax revenue)
What the federal government is creating is allowing companies to come to Canada and not having to pay their fair share in taxes, therefore leaving the taxpayers with the burden o f paying more such has the creation of the HST in Ontario for example. Our country that we love is slowly becoming a third world country and if you do not believe me simply check the stats 20-30 years ago. In that time companies paid their fair share of taxes, employees (taxpayers) had a fair salary and benefits since many companies (especially factories) had unions and inflation was well maintained.
In today’s world, employees have to work harder for less, meaning they have to do more than one job with a lower pay in a company, such as an office employee having to be a receptionist and accountant for example. On top of that inflation cost going higher than the average 2.5% per year (just look at food cost at your grocery store). Homeowners in Ontario now pay more than ever for their hydro bill since Mike Harris sold the government owned company and now it is private so Hydro One can sell hydro at higher cost, on top of that install digital meters with low, medium and high peak so that home owners in Ontario with low income have to decide “do I wear a winter jacket and have a nice meal or eat soup and warm my house to a comfortable level”
It has become a very sad situation when the government treats a company as a priority and a Canadian citizen like a second class citizen. Don’t get me wrong we need companies in this Country, but the government should treat companies equally to citizens, meaning balancing that employees get better wages and in thus the government would collect more tax revenue so everyone would win. If the governemnt would of allowed corporations to get a tax break but in return they would have to pay their employees a fair pay with benefits such as $40 000+ per year for example, I believe we would llive in a better place, for everyone.
It makes me realize how little effect these protesters against these big companies since with people like Harper in power in would seem that whatever these companies request or do, he will back them up and never think for a second about the poor Canadians struggling for a decent job.
Here are the facts: You ask for too much money = you probably won’t get the job
You ask for benefits = you may not get the job
Please note their are companies out there that still believe in giving their employees a fair pay with some benefits, but this trend is slowly becoming instinct like the dinosaurs.

Canada may be balancing their economy but Europ is Going down
let me refresh your mind about the Euro zone.
The European Union was formally established when the Maastricht Treaty came into force on 1 November 1993,[8] and in 1995 Austria, Finland and Sweden joined the newly established EU. In 2002, euro notes and coins replaced national currencies in 12 of the member states. Since then, the eurozone has increased to encompass 17 countries. new countries are joining the euro years by years; to be part of this community,
now remember Uk are in the euro for Business and economy etc but are not part of the euro in currencies and that is the problem , the british are afraid that their pound will increase in values and that would damage the inport export industies in the UK.
in Wilcoshare.com have posted an article about the Vision of GAddaffi, and don’t get me wrong i don’t agree with gaddaffi 100% but that idea of Creating a GOLD dinnar Coin would work internationally, now imagin a world where everything has the same value , it may be bad for capitalist but is good for the ordinary people like me and you.
in that case corporations would think Quality selling with affordable prices instead of quantity salling with high price.
the time for selling less for more will be Over soon
that is why we are having
the arab spring in North africa
occupy wall street in the USA
War in some counties etc.
my opinion would be? Lets make money luiquid and cash GOLD.
