Looking for a free html editor? then look no further.

 

So you bought a domain name, you got a web hosting service. Great!

But now you want to setup some webpages, but you need a free html WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get).

Well that’s where KompoZer can help. The name may seem a little odd, but I can tell you that the app is great for the cost of free! I Personally have it and yes I use it once in a while. But since I do mostof my stuff on word press the app is not used that often, but it is good for tweaking templates to the way I like them.

As you can see from the image on the right(click on image for full screen) you can see that the editor is a simple looking, yes easy to use html editor. You can also see the source code and modify it as well since if you’re like me, sometimes the only way to fix a error on a page is to go right to the source.

Another thing I like about the source editing, is that it is colour coded, meaning that it is easy on the eyes to see the coding, unlike modifying the source in wordpad.

All in all for a free html editor, I give it a 4.5/5
