Well it has happened, StarTek has just recently laid off about 400 employees in the Cornwall, Ontario area, just in time for the elections. For the readers that dont know what StarTek is, it is a call center witch provides outsourcing services for big companies. For cornwall that would be ATT and Bell. Now as for the layoffs I am not certain if the layoffs affected employees from the Bell or ATT division or both.
